About us

The idea to establish in Slovakia an independent fast food chain focused on chicken dishes originated several years ago in Portugal during a tourist trip of the founder of our company. Here the business name of the new company - Frango - was spontaneously created. In Portuguese it means chicken.

 

Chicken dishes are widespread all over the world and there are many recipes for their preparation. However, in fast-food outlets belonging to global chains, chicken is most often prepared by frying, which, although it adds to the flavour thanks to the various ingredients and the texture of the batter, also increases the calorific value of the whole dish enormously. Our intention is to create a range of dishes made from premium chicken meat that is prepared not only by the popular frying method, but also by grilling and baking, in addition to being combined with other healthy and fresh ingredients.

In 2020, we opened our first restaurant in a shopping centre in Bratislava's Slnečnice and in 2022 another one, also in Bratislava - in the Nivy shopping centre, which offers convenient comfort for all those who choose meals from our offer in the marketplace.

 

The organisation of our restaurants provides a high degree of flexibility, which, unlike global companies, allows us to quickly expand our offer to include chicken dishes, which our customers elsewhere lack, for example, because they know their taste and the way they are prepared from home. This strategy is also supported by the young but very experienced managers of both operations, who have been in the catering industry for more than 15 years. Together with his team, he is the guarantor of the quality of our food and service.

 

Our previous experience, interest and positive reactions of our customers are currently motivating us to open additional outlets also in locations outside Bratislava.
